iGaming Affiliate Management Agency: Your Affiliate Team, Outsourced
Quick answer: An iGaming affiliate management agency runs the day-to-day operation of an operator's existing affiliate program as an outsourced affiliate manager: partner communication, monthly payments and reconciliation, tracking platform administration, deal renegotiation, reporting, and partner tiering and reactivation. Cohort Marketing takes over a live program without forcing a migration, works inside your current platform and terms, and reports weekly on FTDs, cost per FTD and NGR by affiliate.
Still need to design a program, choose commission models or recruit your first affiliates? That build-out work sits with our iGaming affiliate program building service. This page is for operators whose program already exists and needs someone running it properly every week.

What does an outsourced affiliate manager do each week?
Most operators already have a program: a tracking platform, a few hundred signed affiliates and a deal sheet that grew over the years. What they lack is someone working it every day. We fill that seat. A typical week covers:
- Partner communication: answering affiliate questions within a business day, sending offer and creative updates, and checking in with the top accounts by name.
- Platform administration: sign-up approvals, tracking link and postback checks, campaign and landing page setup, and fixing attribution gaps before they turn into disputes.
- Traffic review: flagging unusual FTD spikes, brand bidding and players who deposit once and vanish, using the fraud rules already in your terms.
- Reporting: a weekly summary of FTDs, cost per FTD and NGR by affiliate, plus anything that needs your decision.
You keep ownership of the program, the platform and the relationships. We act as your affiliate team, working under your brand and your terms.

How do you handle affiliate payments and reconciliation?
Late or wrong payments are the fastest way to lose good affiliates, and month-end is where most in-house teams fall behind. We run the full cycle on your schedule:
- Statement checks: commissions recalculated against platform data and each affiliate's actual deal, including CPA caps, qualified-FTD rules, negative carryover and tier changes.
- Dispute handling: missing-player claims and tracking disputes investigated with click and registration logs before payment, not after.
- Approval pack: a payment file with every adjustment explained, ready for your finance team to approve.
- Invoice and wallet admin: collecting invoices, checking payout details and crypto wallet addresses, and confirming each payment once it is sent.
Every month ends with a reconciliation note: what was paid, what was held and why, and any affiliate whose numbers moved enough to need a closer look. Payments are released from your accounts after your finance team signs off.
When should existing affiliate deals be renegotiated?
Deals signed two or three years ago rarely match what those affiliates deliver today. We review every active deal each quarter against cohort data from your own platform: FTD volume, D30 and D90 retention, NGR per player and the share of bonus-only players.
- Overpaid deals: CPA affiliates whose players stop depositing after the first week get moved to a hybrid or a lower rate, with the data shared so the conversation stays factual.
- Underpaid winners: affiliates sending high-value players on old rates get a better offer before a competitor makes one.
- Legacy terms: lifetime revenue share without carryover protection, missing brand-bidding clauses and outdated geo lists get updated at the next renewal.
Every proposed change comes to you first with the expected cost or saving, and nothing goes to an affiliate without your sign-off. Current market bands for CPA, revenue share and hybrid deals are in our affiliate CPA rates guide and operator revenue share playbook.

How do partner tiering and reactivation work?
In most programs a small group of affiliates sends most of the FTDs while hundreds of signed partners send nothing. Tiering puts management time where the money is, and reactivation gets value from accounts you already own.
- Tier 1: top partners by NGR get a named contact, faster payment, early access to offers and exclusive bonus codes.
- Tier 2: steady mid-sized partners get monthly check-ins, fresh creatives and clear targets for moving up.
- Tier 3 and long tail: automated updates and periodic offers, with no manual time spent unless volume appears.
- Dormant partners: anyone with no FTDs in 90 days gets a reactivation push: a short call or email, a time-limited improved deal, or new landing pages for their market.
Tiers are reviewed monthly, and partners move up as soon as their numbers justify it. Partners who stay inactive after reactivation are archived, which keeps your reports and platform clean. Affiliates who work better as sponsored creators can be passed to our iGaming KOL team.
What does onboarding look like, and why Cohort Marketing?
Month one is a handover, not a rebuild: access to your platform, a review of every active deal and open dispute, a check of tracking and postbacks, and an introduction to your top partners. By the end of the month you get a written audit of payment errors, overpaid deals and dormant partners worth reactivating. From month two the weekly routine runs: partner communication, platform administration, reporting and a monthly payment run, with renegotiations each quarter. If you are choosing or replacing software, our best iGaming affiliate software comparison covers the options.
Why us: we sit on both sides of the table, running creator and clipping campaigns as well as programs, so we know what good traffic looks like and what every deal should cost. 500+ campaigns since 2022, deposit-level reporting, and no incentive to protect an underperforming affiliate.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is an iGaming affiliate management agency?
An outsourced team that runs the daily operation of an existing affiliate program: partner communication, payments and reconciliation, tracking platform administration, deal renegotiation, reporting, and partner tiering and reactivation. Designing a new program and recruiting its first affiliates is covered by our iGaming affiliate marketing service.
What does affiliate management cost?
Typically a monthly retainer comparable to or below one senior in-house affiliate manager, sometimes with a small performance component. The payment checks and renegotiation work alone usually recover the fee; unmanaged programs leak money through legacy deals and statements nobody checks.
Do we have to switch affiliate software?
No. We work inside the platform you already use and audit its configuration, tracking and postbacks rather than force a migration. If a move does make sense later, we plan it so affiliates keep their links and reporting history.
Will our affiliates know they are working with an agency?
Only if you want them to. Most operators have us work under their brand, using the program's own contact address, terms and approval rules. Affiliate relationships, contracts and data stay with you if the engagement ends.
How fast can you take over a running program?
Most handovers take two to four weeks: platform access, a review of active deals and open disputes, and introductions to top partners. Weekly reporting and the first monthly payment run start inside that window, so affiliates see no gap in communication.
